Comfort Suites Independence - Kansas City

Great location near many places to eat and other shopping. Front desk super professional and friendly. Rooms are fantastic and large with plenty of plugs. I honestly cant think of any real negatives other then shower head could stand improvement but that seems a common thing. Bed was super comfortable with good pillows.

Lovely front office ladies, free lemon water when you walk in! Says no smoking hotel but the hallways smelled of the devils lettuce but the rooms did not smell! The couch was a little dirty along with the comforter but it’s sandwiched in between two sheets. They need to update the ac as getting a suite it is too far away from the other side of the room. Location was great for coming for an event at the arena down the road.

Kevin and Lance are absolutely Rock Stars!! My mother, teen daughter, and I found ourself in a horrible situation after another hotel we had booked was in deplorable conditions and we could not stay there. It was 11:30 PM and we were 2.5 hours from home. This whole team went above and beyond to accommodate us, make us feel safe, and welcomed. The facility was clean and safe, and the breakfast was great! If I find myself needing a room in this area again this will be my go to place!

We have stayed here twice with our daughter who is in a wheelchair. It's dated but welcoming and perfect for us. The staff is all great. Breakfast is the standard eggs, sausage, waffles etc. with biscuits and gravy on the weekends. Saves us a lot of money, we aren't too picky. We liked the Mexican restaurant that shares a parking lot. It's called Catrina's and you can walk there.

I travel for work every week and usually spend four nights at a time in hotels, so cleanliness and reviews matter to me. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and met my expectations, and I would stay here again if I’m back in the area. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, which made it easy to grab dinner after a long workday without having to drive far. Overall, a solid and convenient place to stay.

I travel a lot due to my work and I basically visited every single comfort suites motels in Midwest and in mid East. This is one of my favorite places to stay. Rooms are always super clean and if you will happen to see Kendra and Kevin they both work at the front desk you will get the fastest check in. They are professional, kind and sweet people. The manager of the motel is such a nice and professional lady. P.S. and if you will get the rooms on the right wing of the motel, there’s a nice quiet place to get some fresh air, a bench to sit and enjoy the Holy Trinity view.

I had a 6 hr drive and I like to call before I book a hotel. This voice that picked up was welcoming and soothing, her name is Kendra and I tell you her voice was dead on she walked towards me with her running shoes and this great smile. I was sold from that point. She pointed out what was needed and her personal views of restaurants and surrounding areas. The room was great. The breakfast was fresh and cooked to part. My beds was good I had two just in case I needed a different feeling. Overall I had a positive experience! Great job!

We enjoyed our stay at this Comfort Suites the lady at the desk during check in was very nice and told us about activities going on Friday and Saturday near the hotel. Breakfast was great liked that there was coffee area across the main desk, also liked the Lemon water tank to get refreshing cup of water to refresh our body. Liked that location was close to wedding party so drive back was shorter. Will definitely book a room here next we come to Independence Missouri to visit our family who lives there.
